Description

Intermountain Healthcare, Stanford Cancer Institute, Providence Health & Services, and Syapse formed the Oncology Precision Network (OPeN) to share, as appropriate, aggregated cancer genomics data. This session will describe how OPeN leverages an advanced software platform to rapidly bring the most promising treatment insights to cancer patients and physicians.

Learning Objectives: 

  • Summarize the OPeN network’s background and goals
  • List challenges in harmonizing data across different health systems and molecular diagnostics laboratories
  • Describe the IT platform used to enable sharing of deidentified clinical and molecular data among the OPeN member health systems
