Description

Tele-wound care is a time-saving and effective means of wound care. While most often used in home health setting, acute care hospitals can benefit from this model to increase the productivity of its own in-house experts. Through the use of a centralized tele-wound care model, wound care nurses were able to increase consult completion from approximately 30% to 97.8% over a 4-month period.
