Description

Learn how HL7 messages containing medical device information, derived from the patient by the point of care device, and exchanged between the device/gateway and EHR are validated leading to interoperability. NIST computer scientists provide and are advancing software conformance tooling that provides validation (syntax and semantics) of messages (exchanged between medical devices and enterprise systems [EHRs, EMRs]) based on Standards including HL7 V2 and ISO/IEEE 11073 Med. Dev. nomenclature.
