As one of the first states to launch a direct-to-consumer, health IT-focused patient engagement campaign, Louisiana has achieved a 28 percent increase in the number of patients who are successfully using health IT to manage their health. The Louisiana Health Care Quality Forum will present the Year One results from its campaign and share patient feedback on why consumers will – or will not – engage with health IT.
