Description

APMS are designed in such a way as to encourage, and almost demand, a level of patient engagement never considered in a fee-for-service world. It isn't just a matter of how to engage the patient, but when and with whom, and what information should you be including in that engagement to ensure the greatest level of partnership and patient satisfaction.
This session is part of a special program called Business of Healthcare Symposium: Going from Good to Great in a Value-Based World. Extra fees and separate registration is required.

Learning Objectives:

  • Discuss how to execute an early engagement strategy for patients and their care team
  • List specific strategies/tactics to increase and measure patient engagement
  • Identify at least one approach to integrating patient engagement with social/medical needs and insurance benefits
