Description

Lonnie Rae Kurlander, CEO of Medal, will moderate a “FHIR-side chat” between world-renowned security expert Dan Kaminsky, holder of one of seven keys able to restore the internet in times of crisis, and Andy McMurry, former architect of Harvard’s SHRINE system, spanning many hospitals and millions of patient observations. Our discussion will cover best-in-class security practices, HL7 FHIR®, the future of interoperability, and the value of unstructured and semi-structured data in healthcare. We will also discuss Rate Lock, which limits the leak rate for data breaches. Rate Lock ensures that, when breaches occur, they are survivable and limited.
