February 19-23, 2017
The EU*US eHealth Work Project began September 1, 2016, and will span 18 months, ending in February 2018. The project will measure, inform, educate, and advance activities, skills and actors in the eHealth workforce. Although significant work has been done in this space to date, this project intends to utilize its “network of networks” to break beyond the norm of policy advising and planning, to innovate, catalyze, disseminate and exploit project results, creating an enduring legacy in eHealth workforce development. Consortium members are: Omni Micro Systems/Omni Med Solutions UG (Germany), EHTEL (European Health Telematics Association - Belgium), University of Tampere (Finland), Stiftung Fachhochschule (University) Osnabrück (Germany), Steinbeis-Europa-Zentrum (Germany) and HIMSS Foundation (project execution by the TIGER Initiative).
