Description

Healthcare is complex, and being a healthcare leader requires complex decisions to be made. However, you do not need complex or even complicated tools to make many of those decisions; you simply need an approach that can break down large complex decisions into simple choices based on a binary comparison of the criteria. After attending this session, you will take away a simple tool to help you quickly bring large groups of people to consensus. You will also learn (and be provided with) a second, even more powerful tool, that will allow you to make decisions, create weighting scores and identify the best alternative using multiple criteria with input from an unlimited number of people! It's simple, it's powerful, and it's yours!

Learning Objectives:

  • Choose the best method to quickly develop options in a large group
  • Identify the relative ranking of up to 15 options quickly
  • Apply tools that will allow you to make quantitative decisions using only qualitative data
  • Develop your own model to select and prioritize projects based on data, not guesses
  • Identify and illustrate an easy-to-use Delphi tool for collecting data in a group
