Description

The national Open Notes movement is gaining momentum in providing patients electronic secure access to health information. Research indicates that greater than 75% of patients who have electronic access to physicians’ notes feel more in control of their care, 73% of Physicians report improved relationships with patients, and greater than 85% of patients indicate availability of physician notes would affect their future choice of provider. In this session, discover what the literature review tells us about open notes access and learn about two Wisconsin health systems open notes journeys.
