Attendee Hotel Policies
The HIMSS17 room block closes on Monday, January 23, 2017. In order to be guaranteed a room at the HIMSS rate, we recommend booking your hotel prior to this date. You may still book rooms through the HIMSS website after this date, however the rooms and rates will be based on availability.

Expect an acknowledgement from onPeak to be e-mailed to you within three business days from receipt of your housing request. This acknowledgement serves as a notification that onPeak has received your request form and has assigned you a hotel. It is also confirmation of your hotel room/reservation. You will receive a reminder confirmation from onPeak two weeks prior to the conference.
Deposit Policy and Payment
A two-night room and tax (currently 12.5%) deposit per room is required to secure reservations. You have two options for submitting a deposit.
Deposit by Credit Card
Reservations can be guaranteed with a major credit card at the time of booking. Guaranteeing the reservation with a credit card means the hotel may charge a deposit to your credit card approximately two weeks before your date of arrival. Any no-shows or cancellations after Thursday, January 5, 2017, will be assessed a fee equivalent to the amount of the deposit.
Deposit by Check
At the time of reservation, a check or money order may be submitted (made payable to onPeak. If using a check or money order for deposit, the check must be received by Monday December 26, 2016. After this date, only credit card deposit will be accepted.
All cancellations must be made online or forwarded in writing to onPeak at email@example.com up to Monday, January 23, 2017 (final rooming list date). After this date, please contact your hotel directly. You may cancel your hotel reservations without penalty up to January 5, 2017. No-shows on-site will be considered a cancellation and will be assessed the cancellation fee. Cancellations made after January 5, 2017 will be assessed a two-night room and tax deposit including rooms booked after this date.
Substitutions/Arrival or Departure Changes
Changes to reservations may be made until January 5, 2017 without penalty. Any manual changes made after January 5, 2017 may be assessed a $15.00 fee per room reservation. Changes made online are not subject to charge.
Change in Hotel
You may transfer hotels until January 5, 2017 without penalty. After this date, changing from one hotel to another is considered a cancellation at one hotel and a new reservation that is subject to the deposit policy and may result in loss of the original deposit and the charging of a second deposit at the new hotel.
