All new members and first-time attendees are invited to attend one of two orientation sessions designed to answer every question and resolve every concern about the myriad of offerings at the Annual HIMSS Conference. Staff and speakers will be on-hand to offer valuable tips for making the most out of the conference. Get directions on how to navigate the halls and find the educations sessions you need, review networking and social events and find out where to go to collect or send messages onsite. Workshop 203: Introduction to Healthcare and IT Enabling Technologies: All you Wanted to Know and Were Afraid to Ask

Resource Guide and Pocket Guide

These two guides, available on-site, will be your best source of information. They include session listings, exhibitor booth numbers, conference center maps, exhibit hall hours, and more. Don’t leave your copy back at the hotel!

Useful Tips:

• Book your travel and hotel early. We have 30,000+ people coming to Atlanta. The sooner you book your hotel, the better chance you will have in reserving the room of your choice.

• Wear comfortable shoes. The conference center covers several square blocks in downtown Atlanta.
