Download to Desktop for ActiveSync

Requirements:
You must have a handheld device that is running PocketPC 2002 or higher.
You must have .NET installed on your PocketPC
    - If you have a Pocket PC 2003 or higher, this is already installed.
You must have at least 2 MB to install the application and at least 1.6MB for .NET compact framework.

If you have an earlier version of Pocket PC (2002), follow the directions below.

How to Install .NET onto your Pocket PC via ActiveSync
.NET Compact Framework storage size:

1. Click here to start the download.
2. You will be prompted to Run or Save the file.
3. Click on Run.
4. Follow the prompts and accept the default directions.

How to Install the Conference Guide onto your Pocket PC via ActiveSync

You must have .NET installed on your Pocket PC. If you are not sure if you .NET installed, please follow the directions above.

1. Turn on your Pocket PC and place it into the cradle.
2. Make sure the ActiveSync is working and has recognized the device.
3. You must have .NET installed on your Pocket PC. If you are not sure if you .NET installed, please follow the directions above.
4. Click here to start the download
5. You will be prompted to Run or Save the file. Click Run.
6. Follow the prompts and accept the default directions
7. A program called HIMSS 2008 will be added to your Programs directory.
8. To launch the application on your handheld device do the following:
   1. Click on the Start Menu
   2. Select Programs
   3. Click on HIMSS 2008
   4. It will take 1 – 2 minutes to load the application the first time. However, once it is loaded, it will come up quickly.
   5. Click on the help tab for more instructions on how to use the application.

Download Directly to PocketPC

If you are viewing this page from the browser on your Pocket PC, please follow these directions.

1. Choose the download for your Pocket PC processor.
   1. Processor: ARM/StrongARM/XScale
      (i.e. Compaq/HP iPAQ, Dell Axim, Most modern Pocket PCs)
   2. Processor: MIPS
      (i.e. Casio Cassiopeia)
   3. Processor: SH3 HP
      (i.e. HP Jornada)
2. You will be prompted to save the file to your 'My Documents' folder
3. If there is a "Open file after download" checkbox, make sure it is checked
4. Click on Yes.
5. Wait for all of the files to install
6. If nothing happens, or there was no a "Open file after download" checkbox, you will need to locate the file in your My Documents folder and click on it to install

How to Install the Conference Guide directly onto your Pocket PC

You must have .NET installed on your Pocket PC. If you are not sure if you .NET installed, please follow the directions above.

4. Click on Yes.
