To achieve and sustain the meaningful use of health IT, which holds promise for transforming healthcare, HIMSS realizes the strategic importance of creating a trusted, go-to source for all talent management needs for both job seekers and employers. This source is the HIMSS Career Services Center.

New to HIMSS12 - the Career Services Center will host poster presentations from our Emerging Professionals! A question and answer session will be held on Tuesday, February 21, from 4:15 to 5:00 PM.

The Career Services Center is a centralized location for recruiters, job-seekers, consultants and others who contribute to the development of the health IT workforce. Co-located with HIMSS JobMine, the Career Services Center is a gathering point for both health IT job seekers and health IT organizations looking for talent. There are at least 10 educational sessions offered at various times throughout the conference at the Center.

If you are a job seeker, you will be able to:

• Pick up the HIT Employment and Career Guide
• Post your resume to JobMine
• Network with HIT employers
• Network with your peers to exchange ideas for career advancement
• Attend career building educational sessions to expand your educational reach

A visit to the Career Services Center is all inclusive with a HIMSS12 registration.

• Search JobMine resume listings by keywords
• Meet talented candidates
• Network with HIT professionals and emerging professionals
