What You Get
Session recordings include audio synchronized with the presenter's slide presentation. Sessions from HIT X.0 include video as well. You will be able to download a PDF of the session handout as well as an MP3 file of the audio.

This package does not include keynote speakers, preconference workshops and symposia, some specialty programs, 300-level roundtable sessions, and sessions which have not been authorized for release by the presenters.

How To Access Them
Session recordings will not be sent to you on a disc. They will be accessed through the HIMSS eLearning Academy. You will be able to stream a session player in a browser window. The player includes an audio recording synchronized with the presenter's slide presentation; however, sessions from HIT X.0: Beyond the Edge include video as well (to sample a popular session from HIMSS12, click here). In addition, you will be able to download an audio file of the session for offline listening as well as a PDF of the handout, if available.
 
Continuing Education
Select sessions will be certified as enduring credit for physician and nursing continuing education (CE) and Professional Development Units (PDUs). All session recordings may be applied toward CAHIMS and CPHIMS renewal requirements as well as CEUs toward the CHCIO program. Individual Sessions
Individual session recordings will go on sale in the eLearning Academy the first week of April. The will run $18 a session. HIMSS members receive a 20% discount. Please return to this page in April for more information.
