What forms must I complete in order to present?
As a speaker for HIMSS13, there are required forms that must be completed and returned to HIMSS:

Are there required conference ppt templates that must be used in my presentation?
Speakers are required to use a HIMSS13 ppt template. There are three choices available.

HIMSS13_PPT_Template_Blue.pptx
HIMSS13_PPT_Template_Purple.pptx
HIMSS13_PPT_Template_Slate.pptx

How do I send HIMSS my presentation?
Presentation Management System and instructions will be posted once available.

What should I avoid so I am not considered making a sales pitch in my presentation?
HIMSS conference attendees look for practical, useful, “take-home” information. It is strongly encouraged for sessions to avoid any type of sales pitch. If a presentation needs to mention an organization, vendor, etc. it is okay to mention it, however, do not linger on this and move on. This must be done in moderation and have balance.

What additional resources can you recommend?
More information will be provided once available.

AV Requirements

What are the AV requirements? Are special AV requests allowed?
The following is considered standard equipment, and will be provided (at no charge) in each breakout room:
